Principal's Message

Dear Chaparral Family,

As the new principal of Chaparral High School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! I am excited to begin my 19th year as an educator. Chaparral is a very special school to me as I previously served as a Dean of Students and an Assistant Principal here at Chaparral from 2015-2021. During this time, I had the privilege to help create systems and structures to assist with ensuring high academic success throughout the school community.

I believe great schools are a result of great teachers, staff, parents, and community members. It is my goal to help grow our purposeful community through collective efficacy, communication, professional development, and collaboration with all stakeholders to build and foster a productive and positive culture and climate.

I believe all students can achieve and succeed. Academic achievement, student success, and campus safety are my highest priorities. I will always lead by example to ensure staff and students are committed to setting high standards and maintaining the best educational environment for all students.

I am beyond excited to begin this new journey with all of you and the opportunity to lead alongside a great staff and community. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your children as the new principal of Chaparral High School.
